FAQ
The
ICF defines coaching as "partnering with clients
in a thought-provoking and creative process that
inspires them to maximize their personal and
professional potential." Through our one-on-one
conversations, you will develop an increased
awareness of your true core values and goals,
and then break through what is holding you back
from achieving those goals.
The key catalyst is connecting your inner
passion and felt purpose with clearly defined
goals. Developing workable and attainable action
plans will help you achieve sustainable results.
The ultimate goal of the coaching process is a
shift in energy which allows you to replicate
the success of the initial coaching scenario
with your future challenges — and the process
works!
Coaching provides a
confidential, supportive, non-judgmental arena
in which to focus on your challenges and break
through the barriers preventing you from
reaching your full potential in all areas of
your life. The coaching relationship is a
partnership in which you will be challenged to
break any inner resistance against fully
realizing positive change. Fears (whether of
failure or of success) will be challenged and
dispelled, and coaching will guide you towards
achieving your goals and raising your
satisfaction levels both at work and home.
Coaching can help in all areas
of your life, whether at the office or at home.
Essentially, coaching is about clarifying and
improving relationships, beginning with your
relationship with yourself. You address
practical, concrete issues, such as finances and
interpersonal situations. Attaining balance in
one area of your life gives you the momentum to
build better relationships with professional
colleagues, family members and friends.
Typically a coaching engagement
for a specific challenge lasts three to six
months. The skills acquired and results attained
will be sustainable over time. After
the initial engagement you may want a refresher,
check-in or mini engagement, which can be
arranged and tailored to meet your particular,
defined goals.
Beginning the process is easy.
